During a routine inspection

People said they were happy at Epworth Residential Home. One person said "I like it here, everything's lovely." People said they had been given the opportunity to look around the home before deciding to live there. They also said they were involved in their care, with their preferences being sought and taken into consideration.

People told us that they were happy with the care and treatment they were receiving. One person said "The staff will help me with anything I want, at anytime." People said they were happy with the staff and the care that they provided. One person said "They do their best, they're very good" and another person told us "The staff are very obliging."

All the people that we spoke with told us they felt safe at Epworth Residential Home. People were also clear about how and who to report any concerns about their safety to.

People told us they were happy with the service and knew how to raise issues, should they have any. Everyone that we spoke with said they didn't have any complaints or concerns.
