During an inspection in response to concerns

We spoke to four people who used the agency and also one relative. All of the people we spoke to were happy with the service that the agency provided. People told us that that the staff who supported them were normally punctual and stayed the correct length of time. They said staff always treated them with dignity and respect.

One person told us. 'I was only talking to social services last week and telling them how pleased I was with We Care Homecare'. Other comments from people included: 'I am very happy with all the carers who call.' 'I can not fault the staff and I have not had any problems' and 'The staff who support me are wonderful'.

Relatives of people told us that their family members were well supported by staff to receive the care they needed.

During a routine inspection

We used a number of different methods to help us understand the experiences of people using the service, because the people using the service had complex needs which meant they were not always able to tell us their experiences.

We spoke to three people who used the agency and also three relatives of people who used the service. All of the people we spoke with were happy with the service that the agency provided. People told us that that the staff who supported them were normally punctual and stayed the correct length of time. They said staff were friendly and cheerful and always treated them with dignity and respect.

One person told us. 'I have regular carers who support me and they are very good'.

Other comments from people included: ' The girls that support me are brilliant, I can not fault them' 'The staff always have a smile and are friendly and cheerful'

Two people told us that communication with the office could be improved. One person said 'I have asked the office to inform me if I am going to have a different carer but this does not always happen.

None of the people we spoke with had made any complaints but they all said that they were aware of how to complain and were confident that any complaints would be dealt with appropriately.

We spoke with six members of staff. They said that they were well supported by the agency and that they were provided with the training and information they needed to support people effectively.
