During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

At the previous inspection on 18 April 2014 we found that improvements were needed to the recruitment and selection processes used at the practice.

We found that the provider had carried out the relevant safeguarding checks for all staff to ensure the safety of patients who used the service. However we found that other recruitment information was not available such as application forms and references to confirm that someone was of good character.

We recently asked the provider to send information to us to show that the required improvements had been made. We checked this evidence and saw that an effective recruitment and selection process had been put in place at the practice to ensure patients were kept safe from harm.
