To get feedback on our plans and activities, we regularly consult with people who use health, social and mental health care services, as well as professionals and organisations.
We run consultations on different topics – from proposed changes to our mental health, social and health care policies, to our plans for our regulatory process.
These consultations help us to understand the standards of care that people who use services expect, and the issues that matter most to them.
Consultations on our guidance to help services meet new regulations
We've produced draft guidance for health and social care services to help them meet the new fundamental standards, Duty of Candour and Fit and proper persons requirements.
Integrated multi-agency inspections of children's services
We're working in partnership with Ofsted, HMI Constabulary, HMI Probation and HMI Prisons to carry out no notice, integrated inspections of services for children in need of help and protection, children looked after and care leavers and joint inspections of the Local Safeguarding Children Board.
You can see all the changes we have consulted on before on our Past consultations page.
