Joint inspections
We contribute to Ofsted’s inspection reports into children’s services in each local authority. Find out what we do during the inspections and download the report for your local area.
What do we look at?
During the inspections, we:
- review data and information gained from previous inspections.
- interview and conduct focus groups to help us assess the services provided by primary care trusts (PCTs) and organisations.
- judge whether the service meets statutory guidance and our essential standards of quality and safety.
The findings are then published on Ofsted’s website within 25 days after the end of the review.
