Breach
On and before 29 June 2023, the employer was found in breach of regulations 6(1)(a) and 6(5)(b).
Description
An Improvement Notice was issued to the employer under Section 21 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 following an inspection of the Computerised Tomography (CT) scanning department. This identified concerns around the quality of written procedures and the lack of an effective quality assurance programme for written procedures and protocols.
Result
The employer submitted evidence and was deemed to comply with this Notice on 21 September 2023.
