On and before 26 April 2023, the employer was found in breach of regulations 6(1)(a), 6(7) and 8(1).
Description
An Improvement Notice was issued to the employer under Section 21 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 following an inspection of the diagnostic imaging department. This identified concerns around the quality of written procedures, failure to take action when diagnostic reference levels were consistently exceeded and lack of process around clinically significant unintended or accidental exposures.
