Some services are exempt from the requirement to display ratings

You don’t need to display ratings if:

  • your service shows tick or cross symbols or
  • it has not yet been inspected or rated.

 

The page for a provider without a rating

Services that do not need to display ratings are:

  • blood and transplant services
  • children's homes carrying on regulated activities
  • dental services (except those provided by an NHS trust)
  • independent services providing: hyperbaric chambers, pathology laboratories, podiatry
  • independent services that only provide cosmetic surgery not involving the use of intravenous sedation, general anaesthesia or the insertion of an implant
  • IVF clinics licensed by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority
  • national screening programmes
  • prison healthcare services
