The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated services provided by Delta Medical Services in Maidstone, Kent as Good following its latest inspection.
Inspectors visited the organisation in August 2019. As a result Delta Medical Services has been rated overall as Good. We rated its services as Good for being safe, effective, responsive and Requires Improvement for being well-led.
Delta Medical Services is operated by Delta Medical Services Limited. The service operates a patient transport service and provides services to patients travelling between their homes, places of safety, acute and mental health hospitals. The service primarily serves the communities of the Kent and Essex.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, CQC’s immediate focus is on supporting providers to keep people safe during a period of unprecedented pressure. The Commission will continue to collect insight and intelligence about the quality of care from existing data sources, providers, healthcare staff, stakeholders, and the public and work closely with NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care to ensure additional support is in place where needed.
