During a routine inspection

People who used the service felt the Photopheresis Unit provided good quality care and support. We were told: 'The way they treat me can't be put into words. I can't express enough how positive they are. You feel you can trust them.'

Another person told us: 'It's been second to none, the treatment. I'm very well looked-after, they can't do enough for me.'

We found that the service provided effective care and treatment during the photopheresis process. We found that all equipment was maintained in keeping with the manufacturer's instructions. The service ensured staff were recruited following a robust selection and recruitment process. The Photopheresis Unit provided a clear complaints procedure for people to use if they had concerns.
