All Inspections

During a routine inspection

We found that systems for consultation, interaction and communication were effective and individuals had their privacy and dignity protected. Patients said that they were treated with dignity and respect and said that their privacy was protected and promoted. One patient said 'I chose to come here; it has got a very good reputation. I visited a friend here last year and was very impressed with it then.'

Patients were fully involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. Staff all worked closely together to ensure that patients had the care and treatment they needed. Records, including care plans were up to date, accurate and individualised. Patients received safe and appropriate care and treatment. Potential risks were assessed and managed to ensure that patients were safe without being restricted. Everyone we spoke with said that they felt safe and secure.

There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet patient's needs. Patients told us that the staff were kind and caring and that they were there when they needed them. Staff were attentive and gave patients the time they needed so that they were not rushed. The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that patients received. Robust governance systems identified, assessed and managed risks to the health, safety and welfare of people using the service and others.
