During a routine inspection

People said that the staff at Warminster Hospital were 'caring', 'cheerful' and 'very kind'. They said that the nurses were attentive and always responded quickly when they called them. They said that they were supported with all of their personal hygiene needs and they were always treated with respect and their dignity was protected. They felt that the ward was clean and they saw staff washing their hands frequently. Views about the quality of the food were mixed but everybody said that their meals were satisfactory, and that they had enough to eat and drink. Those people who needed assistance to eat said they received it.

Most people said that they felt involved in their care; they said that the staff explained what their plan of care and treatment was and kept them well informed. People who were ready to go home told us that they were confident that appropriate arrangements had been made for them to be supported once they returned home.
