All those who used this service had an individual plan of care, a copy of which was kept in their home for them to read if they wished. We looked at the care documentation in the office and found this to be relevant and up to date.

We found that the selection and recruitment of staff to be appropriate with staff support and training appropriate to each person working at this agency. We contacted three members of staff by telephone and all of them said Eden Country Care was a good place to work. One told us, 'I had a good induction programme and shadowed a more experienced member of staff until the manager thought I was able to work by myself'.

This agency had an appropriate and robust internal quality audit system in place to monitor the safety and quality of the service provided.
