During a routine inspection

In this report the name of a registered manager appears who was not in post and not managing the regulatory activities at this location at the time of the inspection. Their name appears because they were still a Registered Manager on our register at the time.

People told us they thought the service had improved since Crime Reduction Initiatives (CRI) took over. One person who used the service said; 'They [Recovery workers] are helping me to plan for my future'. One service user said of their key worker; 'You can't get a finer person. They are very understanding and compassionate'.

We found good evidence that people who used the service had been fully involved in developing their care plan and what support or treatment they needed. People told us they had been consulted about the support they required.

A commissioner for the service described the service as; 'Very good, highly organised'.

Service users told us they felt safe when they attended the centre and they told us that staff treated them with respect.

We found that staff were trained and supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard and there were systems in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received and this included seeking feedback from people who used the service.
