During a routine inspection

We saw that the provider had effective systems in place to ensure people's safety and welfare. Vehicles and equipment was maintained and checked to ensure transport and emergency medical care was provided safely. Infection prevention and control arrangements were effective which meant that people were protected against cross infection.

We examined records which showed that people were asked for their consent to care and treatment. Care was provided according to the assessment of people's needs and wishes.

We saw that staff were recruited appropriately, held relevant professional registrations and were trained to provide safe care.
