During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made

This inspection was a follow up inspection to check that improvements had been made in the knowledge of staff in regard to safeguarding people who use services from abuse and the implementation of a recruitment policy/procedure that met the Commission’s regulations. This was because the provider was non-compliant following our last inspection on 24 September 2013 in these areas and compliance actions were issued.

This service was a small service delivered by two staff. The registered person was the person carrying out the scans and the other member of staff assisted them in the provision of the service.

Policies and procedures for safeguarding people who used the service from abuse were in place and staff had received appropriate training. This meant staff had sufficient knowledge to ensure that people were safeguarded against the risk of abuse.

A recruitment procedure was in place to ensure that potential employees would be employed with all the proper checks being in place.
