We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 22 April 2025
We found the practice had not met all regulations.
The practice did not have effective systems to manage risks.
Recruitment procedures broadly reflected current legislation. Improvements were needed to ensure that the required recruitment documentation, including evidence of conduct in previous employment, was requested at the point of employment.
The practice did not have an effective system to monitor staff training to ensure action could be taken quickly if training requirements were not being met.
Care and treatment provided to patients were not accurately recorded in the patient care records.
There was ineffective leadership and a lack of culture of continuous improvement.
Infection control procedures in place were effective.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our inspection, could access care, support and treatment when required.
The practice is in Wembley, in the London Borough of Brent, and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
Car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, were available near the practice.
The practice had 1 treatment room.At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 3 staff, of which there were 2 dentists and 1 dental nurse. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to the principal dentist during our inspection.
