During a routine inspection
People told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment provided at Alston dental practice. One person said, "They are always very friendly and there is no problem getting an appointment when you want one," and another person commented "I have always been happy with the service I get from this dentist."
People spoken with confirmed that they were told about any treatment needed before hand and one person told us they were sent an estimate for the treatment in the post before the treatment commenced. People also said they were treated with respect and if they had any questions they were always answered thoroughly and in a sensitive way.
People were treated in a clean environment and arrangments were in place for the safe decontamination of reusable instruments and equipment.
People's dental records were kept in a safe and secure manner which ensured their security and maintained confidentiality.
