During a routine inspection
People received assessment, care and treatment that met their needs and was in accordance with recommended dental practice.
During our inspection we spoke with four people who were waiting to see the dentists. They told us that they were very happy with their care and treatment. Written comments included, 'The best dentist in the world!' and, from someone visiting the practice for the first time, 'Thank you'.. I do appreciate your care and expertise.' People were particularly complimentary about the attitude of staff, referring to them as 'Kind and helpful' and, '.always so friendly.'
The service was well led. Senior staff were accessible and responsive to other practice staff, who told us that they felt well supported in their role. Records showed that staff received training to enable them to meet people's needs appropriately.
People were able to influence how the service operated and the care and treatment they received. People were routinely consulted about treatment options and supported to make choices. They were asked for their feedback about the service and their comments were considered and acted upon. Suitable arrangements were in place to manage complaints.
