During a routine inspection

We spoke with care workers, people and relatives of people who live in the home. They told us their relatives were well looked after and enjoyed living at the home. One relative told us, 'We chose this home as we had heard some good things about it. X is well looked after here.' Another told us, 'I looked at other homes first but liked this one, X has been happy since coming here.'

We spoke with four members of staff. We observed care workers speaking to people politely and in a calm and friendly manner. Care was delivered with individual needs in mind and reflected people's preferences. Care plans were regularly updated.

We looked at five recruitment files which contained the relevant information.

We saw evidence of internal audits to assess and monitor the quality of the service the home provided. We toured the building and were shown up to date records in respect of the homes suitability, including maintenance records and equipment servicing.
