During a routine inspection

We found that the home involved people in decisions about their care and made sure that they could make choices about their daily life. Many of the six people who lived in the home had difficulty in communicating verbally. One person told us that they liked living in the home. They said ' I really like it here and would like to stay'. We saw that staff treated people with respect and maintained their dignity at all times. We found that staff had received safeguarding of vulnerable adults training and were clear about their responsibilities to protect the people in their care. One person told us that there were always staff around to help them and to talk to them. The home had an effective system to assess and monitor the quality of service it provided and found ways of seeking the views of people who had communication difficulties.
