Overview

During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

Before people had been consulted about how they wanted to receive their medicines, and had developed with staff a medication administration care plan that showed their choice and preferences. When we visited people who use services we saw their medication administration plan had not been implemented. The provider has taken steps to ensure people's care plans are followed and their choices of medication adminstration is respected, and people are given their medicines safety and correctly. In addition the provider has taken steps to ensure the staff that help people with their medicines are competent, and provided staff with protective clothing to ensure cleanliness and high standards.
