During a routine inspection

People using the service told us that Westfield was meeting the assessed needs of people using the service effectively. Comments made included;

"The staff have all been really good, they speak to me politely and are very reliable."

'I have no concerns, the care and support I receive is really good.'

'I have every confidence in the staff. They always come when they should and help me with the things I can't do for myself any more."

'The care is brilliant, I could not manage without them.'

We found that the agency had suitable arrangements in place to ensure people using the service were respected and involved in planning their care and support, meeting their assessed needs (including their medication needs). There were also appropriate arrangements in place to provide appropriate staffing provision, check the quality of the service provided and manage any complaints or concerns raised about the service.

During a routine inspection

People using the service told us that the agency was meeting their care and support needs properly. They also said that they were involved and consulted about how they were cared for and supported and that care staff treated them with respect and maintained their dignity.

Comments received included;

"I am fully involved in all the decisions about the help I receive and feel I have full control of my life.'

"They (staff) always ask me for my views and they provide me with the assistance that I want."

"The help I get from the staff means I can live as independently as possible and do not need to go into a care home."
