During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

At our inspection in April 2012 we found that staff had not received adequate training and support from the provider for their roles. We made a compliance action as a result.

During this review we found that the provider had taken satisfactory action to ensure that staff received the training and support they needed for their role and to care for people appropriately.

During a routine inspection

This ambulance service mainly undertook work at London hospitals and a local hospital. They facilitated single journeys for hospital appointments or transfers between hospitals. It was not therefore possible to get people's views on the service. However, we saw that the service had received positive feedback from people through thank you cards about the care and support given. People said that staff had been kind and supportive to them.
