During a routine inspection

People living at the home told us they had helped to plan the care they received and felt they were involved in making decisions about their care. They felt the staff always respected their privacy and dignity and helped them to remain as independent as possible.

People told us they felt safe living at the home and felt the staff had the skills they needed when providing their care. People knew how to raise concerns and felt their comments would be listened to and acted on.

We found the provider had effective systems in place to ensure people had their health and personal care needs met and were involved in planning their care.

We found Abbeycrest Nursing Home was compliant with the essential standards of quality and safety that we inspected.

During a routine inspection

The people we spoke with were complimentary about their care. They told us they were provided with information about their care and that they could raise concerns with any member of staff. They felt the home met their individual needs and that staff were approachable. People said they felt involved in their care planning and treatment.
