During a routine inspection

We spoke with five people using the service, two staff members and the manager during this unannounced inspection of Sisters Avenue.

Overall comments from people using the service included "things are good, the people are good" and "I appreciate what they have done for me". One person told us "it works if you want it to work, a quite effective service". We asked people about the support provided to them and their replies included "I'm very happy with it - can't fault it", "I find it helpful here" and "I'm happy with the support".

Individuals told us that they liked the staff who worked with them and said they were treated with dignity and respect. Their feedback included "they're genuine, they're trying", "the workers here are great", "my keyworker is good" and "they have been patient and supportive".

During a routine inspection

People who use the service told us that they get a good service which meets their needs. They said that the staff were caring and respectful towards them.

People told us that being at the service helped to increase their self-esteem and gain more independence in their life. They said that they felt supported by staff and their confidence had improved, which had enabled them to make positive life choices.
