During a routine inspection
People said that their carers were all very supportive. Comments made to us about the service's staff included 'the staff are supportive, they take you out, help with your shopping or to go to the doctors', 'they are very well mannered and polite and are very good to you', 'really great people' and 'everyone is decent enough'.
Staff told us that they were well supported and were provided with the information they needed to do their jobs. As this is a new service we discussed with staff how they felt about the work they do for the agency. Comments included 'It has been exciting and challenging for everyone, but the support we provide for people has improved the quality of life for them as they are able to live more independently'.
We spoke with the Local Authority Contracts Officer who informed us that they did not have any concerns about this service.
