Inspection carried out on 12 February 2013

During a routine inspection

People living at the home, and relatives who acted on their behalf, were involved in and agreed to the care they received. Where people were unable to give consent, formal processes were followed to make decisions that were in their best interests.

People’s care was suitably planned and took account of managing risks to their safety and welfare. There were also appropriate arrangements to make sure prescribed medicines were given safely.

Individualised support was provided by enough skilled and experienced staff to meet people’s needs.

The home had a clear complaints procedure. People expressed no concerns and feedback showed they were satisfied with the service.
