During a routine inspection
The young people experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. One parent said, 'We have got to know them well and they have been very helpful." When we asked if staff listened to them they said, "We cannot fault them." People told us the same support staff came consistently to work with their children.
The young people who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. The young people were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. Parents said that the support staff encouraged their children to be as independent as possible.
We found that the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that the young people received. The parents we spoke with told us they were happy with the service provided.
