During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

When we inspected in November 2012 we spoke to four patients who used the service who all told us that they were happy with the treatments that they received at the practice. However, we also found that the provider had not kept appropriate records in relation to the suitability of staff who worked there. For this inspection we reviewed the information that the provider had sent and were satisfied that the provider had updated staff files with the appropriate references and full employment histories.

During a routine inspection

We spoke to four patients who used the service who all told us that they were happy with the treatments that they received at the practice.

One patient told us that the staff were 'Professional and very approachable' whilst another told us that they 'Would not go anywhere else.'

We were told by patients that they were able to get appointments when they needed to and saw that patients were spoken to in a kind and considerate manner.

We found that staff were trained to identify different forms of abuse against vulnerable adults and knew who to contact if they had any concerns.

The practice had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service however the provider had not kept appropriate records in relation to the suitability of staff who worked there.
