During a routine inspection

We spoke to people who use services during the visit. People told us that the service was good and efficient in completing assessments and treatment. People told us that they did not have to wait for appointment for too long. People told us that they had been given information throughout the investigations by GP. People told us that it was good that the GP was a specialist in the area which gave them reassurance. People told us that they were aware that they could contact the service if they had any concerns.

We spoke to staff who told us that they enjoyed their job. They told us that they inform people of the procedures at all times. Staff told us that people had option of having chaperone with them for consultation for support and ensure their privacy and dignity. Staff felt that they offered a good service to people as people did not have to wait long for appointments or treatment. Staff told us that they worked as a good team and support each other. Staff felt the lead cardiologist was helpful and knowledgeable which was good for the service and people.
