During a routine inspection
As part of our visit, we spoke with six people who were registered with the practice by telephone. We also spoke with the dentist and their staff about working at the practice.
People that used the practice told us that they were happy with the quality of treatment received. They felt they were given enough information about their treatment options and the relevant fees, and were able to ask all the questions they wanted to.
People who were very nervous about going to the dentist told us that the staff were very patient with them. Staff reassured them throughout their treatment often by holding their hand at the start of dental treatments and putting them at ease.
We found that people using this practice had made comments in a book dedicated for this purpose and these included:-
'Thank you so much for being so accommodating with my tight time scales.'
'The treatment was straight forward and took no longer than I was advised.'
'Everyone at Brackenwood are so friendly and lovely which made this one of the best things I have done.'
'.were fantastic with me throughout the whole process making me feel reassured.'
'Dentist'. is a warm and genuine and relaxed man.'
People told us that the practice was clean and tidy and had no concerns about hygiene standards.
