Archived: College Dental Surgery

People said that the dentists and dental nurses were 'wonderful', and that they did not have any complaints about the staff or the service. One person said 'I have been coming here for years, and I am fully confident in the care and treatment given. I am very happy with everything'. Another person said 'I cannot praise them highly enough. Everything about this practice is excellent.'

We found that the surgery had good systems in place to ensure that staff kept up with required training subjects. All of the staff were trained in child protection and safeguarding of vulnerable adults, and how to deal with any suspicions of abuse.

We saw that the surgery was clean in all areas, and there were reliable procedures in place for maintaining cleanliness and infection control.

The surgery enabled people to give feedback via 'complaints and compliments' leaflets; and through carrying out regular surveys.
