Meeting this standard

We checked that people who use this service

  • Will benefit from the knowledge that the Care Quality Commission is informed of the services being provided.

How this check was done

We looked at the personal care or treatment records of people who use the service, carried out a visit on 16 March 2013, observed how people were being cared for and checked how people were cared for at each stage of their treatment and care. We talked with people who use the service and talked with staff.

Our judgement

The provider had a statement of purpose that contained clear information about the services provided and this was kept under review.

Reasons for our judgement

During our visit we requested a copy of the statement of purpose for the service. We found that the document was well written and provided clear information about the aims and objectives of the service and recorded the regulated activity to be provided.

The document gave the full name of the service provider and the registered manager, together with the business address and contact details.
