During a routine inspection

People told us the agency provided excellent care. One person said, 'The care is superb and I trust the staff 100%. I cannot fault Bluebird Care.' Another person commented, 'The carers are flexible ' if I want something doing differently on the day they are fine with that. They listen to me and it is always a pleasure when they come to help me.'

People said they were happy with the staff team. One person told us, 'Very, very nice carers. I like them all and look forward to them coming.' A relative commented, 'The girls are lovely and they look after my (family member) beautifully.'

People told us they were satisfied with how their medication was managed by the agency's staff. One of the people who used the service said, 'The staff are very good at medication and know what they're doing.'

People said they thought the agency was well-run and provided good quality safe care. One person told us, 'They are quality itself.' Another person commented, 'I moved to Bluebird because I wanted a better quality of service and they have lived up to my expectations.'

During a routine inspection

As part of our inspection we spoke by telephone with people who used the service.

Overall we observed people were supported by skilled and experienced staff who understood their roles and responsibilities.

We saw people were treated with dignity and respect and supported to make decisions about their care.The quality assurance systems in place enabled people to express their views about the services and care they received.

When we spoke with people they told us they felt confident with the care they received and that staff knew how to meet their needs.

One person said the carers were, "Absolutely superb."

People told us if the carers were held up they would call to let them know.They said it was very easy to contact the office if they had queries or concerns.

One person told us they,"Generally help xxxx to do whatever xxxx needs."

We heard staff talking to people on the phone in a pleasant and respectful way.
