During a routine inspection

We were unable to speak to people using the service as the practice wasn't open for appointments at the time of the inspection. We looked at people's responses to the providers survey to inform our findings. People had rated the service very highly for all aspects of their treatment and available facilities.

People received information about the services provided and their individual treatment options to enable them to make a decision about treatment. A detailed medical history was taken for each person and discussed during their appointment. There were suitable arrangements in case of a medical emergency and staff had received life support training.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk of infection. Staff were able to describe the decontamination process to us and provided evidence to show that checks were carried out on all aspects of infection control and prevention.

Staff received suitable training and were registered with their professional bodies. People's personal records including medical records were accurate, fit for purpose and readily available.
