During an inspection looking at part of the service

The practice was inspected by the Care Quality Commission in January 2013. We found that improvements were required as the practice had not followed appropriate guidance in relation to the provision of emergency medication.

We visited the practice on the 13th August 2014 and found that the provider had made all the necessary improvements to become compliant within this area.

During a routine inspection

People’s privacy, dignity and independence were respected.

People did not experience care, treatment and support that met their needs as the surgery had not followed appropriate guidance in relation to the provision of emergency medication.

People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. and were cared for, by suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.

Comments and complaints people made were responded to appropriately.
