Archived: The People Care Team

Staff had received training so that they knew how to safely support people with their medicines.

People said that staff always came at the time that was expected and carried out all the tasks that were required. They said that they knew how to make a complaint, but had never had to do so. All of the people that we spoke to said that they would definitely recommend the service to other people.

The agency was in regular contact with people who used the service. There were systems in place for monitoring the quality of service that it provided, which included asking people who used the service for their views. One person said about the agency manager, 'She is passionate about what she does'.

People said as they or their relative had received high quality care from the service they would recommend it to other people. One person commented, ' I would like to express my thanks for the people care team'.The team show respect, and concern and are always willing to cater for their clients needs. I would certainly recommend The People Care Team should the occasion arise'.

People emphasised that staff had the necessary skills and experience that they required to support them or their family member. Comments included, '(the agency manager) is very on the ball with managing staff, and training. Staff are caring and have medical knowledge. There is a quality of staff. They do it because they enjoy it".

The agency asked people for their views on the quality of the service on a regular basis. This helped to ensure that the service was run in the interests of the people who used it.
