During a routine inspection

We spoke to four people who had a scan during our visit. All of them spoke positively of their experience and the care provided to them by the staff. One person told us " It was very professional. There was no rush and the staff kept me up to speed with what was happening and what to expect next." Another person told us "It has been excellent, everyone has been very kind and reassuring." and another told us "The whole thing has been as smooth as butter."

We found that people were provided with full information about the scans and procedures and were treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. Information about people was held confidentially throughout the service.

We found that staff understood the importance of protecting and safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and knew what to to do if they suspected abuse.

The staff we spoke to were trained, supervised and supported and went about their work in a polite, professional and calm manner.

We found that the provider took steps to assess and monitor the quality of the service it provided. It also undertook a range of audits to manage the risks associated with its activities.
