During a routine inspection
We looked at how the health and welfare of the people was supported by the service. We looked at people's records and saw details of any interventions made by staff were recorded.
We looked at the way the service protected the people it supports. The service had a safeguarding policy which provided information on the types of abuse people could experience as well as a reporting procedure in place for concerns to be raised.
People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. Each ambulance was subject to rigorous and regular cleaning and inspection regimes. A vehicle cleanliness audit was recorded after each use. We examined one ambulance and found it to be clean and well-equipped.
