During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

We re-examined the outcome where we had previously identified non-compliance. We found that the provider had taken the appropriate action to address the identified shortfalls.

During a routine inspection

We spoke to four staff working in the service. Staff told us that they were clear about their job role. They told us that they had regular meetings with their managers and felt supported enough to be able to raise any concerns. We were told that staff found the appraisal process helpful.

Staff told us that they felt part of the team and we observed staff speaking to each other in a friendly and professional way.

We found that the building was well maintained and staff felt safe working there.

There was little evidence with regard the outcomes relating to both involvement and information, and care and treatment as the provider was, at the time of the inspection, not providing nursing care but sought to retain registration in order to support future clinical trials and projects.

There was a lack of understanding with regard safeguarding and evidence of non adherence to policy.
