People told us that the service they received form the practice was 'excellent' and 'very good'. One person said it was 'the best dental practice and the staff are very helpful'. Another person said it had 'taken years to find one as good as this'.We spoke with three people and they all said consent to treatment was sought and that treatment was explained fully. They all confirmed they felt safe and able to ask questions regarding their treatment.
We found that people were given appropriate information regarding treatment. Care and support given, met their needs and protected their rights.
The service followed the appropriate guidance regarding the risk of infection. Those we spoke with said they found the practice to be clean.
We found that provider had not taken reasonable steps to protect people from the risk of abuse; neither did they have appropriate checks in place regarding the recruitment of staff. There was not an effective system in place to assess and monitor the quality of service.
