During a routine inspection

People using the service told us the care and support provided by Aman Care Limited was good and they got on well with staff. One person told us. 'They are fantastic, they come on time, respect me and know how to care for me'.

People's needs were assessed and care and support was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plans. People and their relatives were involved in making decisions relating to the care provided.

Care and support was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. Staff had built up a good working relationship with the people they were providing care for.

People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. People told us they felt safe with the staff who cared for them.

There were effective recruitment and selection procedures in place. People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.

The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. People who used the service, their relatives and staff were asked for their views about the quality of care and support being provided.

People were not protected from the risks of unsafe or inappropriate care and treatment because accurate and appropriate records were not maintained.
