During a routine inspection

When we inspected the service we spoke to four patients and the partner of one of the patients. All of the people we spoke to were positive about their experiences of the clinic. One patient told us 'I am very happy.'

People told us that they were well informed about and involved in the choices about their care and that they were made aware of the charges they would have to pay. 'They explain all of the treatment honestly and openly. I always know what the different options would cost,' we were told.

The clinic was clean and tidy and a number of measures were in place to control the risk of infection.

Staff were friendly and professional and the provider ensured that staff were suitably qualified and experienced for their roles. One patient said 'it is clean, friendly and professional here.'

During a routine inspection

We spoke to four patients and their partners during our visit. They all spoke positively of their experiences and the care they had received from the staff. One person told us "The nurses are fantastic." Another person told us "Everything is positive. They explain things to us clearly and always give us enough time. We have never felt rushed."

We found that people using the service had been given full information about treatment options and been able to make informed decisions about their care. These consent decisions were recorded.

The premises were clean and well maintained and steps were taken to control the risks of infection.

Staff were qualified, trained and supported to provide the service and they received coaching and opportunities for professional development.

There were systems in place to audit and monitor the quality of the service and to implement improvements.
