During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who use the service. People told us that staff were always friendly, helpful and treated them with respect. They also said that their experiences of using the service had been positive and that they had been supported in a way that suited them best. One person told us 'The service is brilliant, it has saved my life.' Another person said 'The support I have here is key, I am with people who understand what I am going through.'

People who used the service were pleased with the quality of care they received. They felt well supported by the groups they attended One person told us 'I feel there is no judgement, just understanding.' Another said 'I could not have got through my addiction without the help and support of this service.' The people who use the service felt their relationship with their key worker was beneficial and productive.

People told us that they would know how to raise any safeguarding issues and added that they felt protected and safe within the service. One person told us 'I feel very safe here, more than anywhere else.'

People were cared for by staff who had good access to training and felt supported to carry out their roles effectively and safely.

The service had an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people who used the service and others.
