During a routine inspection

People who used the practice told us they were very happy with the service they received at Sherwood dental centre. One person said they had been attending for many years and had always felt reassured, and able to discuss treatment options with their dentist and other practice staff. People said they could always get an emergency appointment usually on the same day.

The practice was arranged over two floors, with a large reception area and a surgery on the ground floor. There were further surgeries located on the upper floor. There were plans in place to refurbish the practice. However we were unable to assess the impact of the refurbishment as it was "work in progress". We noted that the practice was visibly clean on the day of our inspection and suitable for the provision of dental care to people who used the service.
