During a routine inspection
During our visit we met individually with all of the people who used the service and we spoke over the telephone to three of their relatives. In addition we spoke with three members of staff who held various roles at Clare Walk.
We observed that the service was run as an ordinary domestic household. The people who used the service had an active role in daily activities and we observed them preparing meals as part of an independent lifestyle.
One relative told us 'It's an ordinary house, in an ordinary street, like everybody else'. Another said 'It's more or less home from home, we are totally happy, she is very happy and is involved in her own care.'
