During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made

We found that the provider had made improvements to the service and that the required changes had been made. We found that checks were made on the emergency medical equipment on a regular basis and that cleaning policies and cleaning schedules contained appropriate guidance to staff. We also found that the provider had introduced records to evidence that appropriate cleaning regimes were in place and the appropriate checks were made on the emergency medical equipment and medication.

During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who used Shire Court Dentistry Limited and they were extremely happy with the service that was provided. They told us they felt well informed in treatment options and were able to make their own decisions. We found concerns in relation to the emergency medical equipment, infection control and record keeping.
