During a routine inspection

On the day of our visit we spoke with three patients who were complimentary about the practice. They felt that they were treated with respect and dignity. They told us that they were informed about the choices, alternatives and possible outcomes of their treatment. One patient said "Always totally happy - the dentists and staff are easy to talk to" and another said "Would recommend to friends". We were told that the staff were friendly, which we observed to be the case, and that they treated people with courtesy. We found that overall the patients felt they received an excellent service.

We found that a patient satisfaction survey was used to gather feedback. One comment stated "I really appreciate her kindness and very good work", and another said "Thank you for a nice visit to a place I would normally dread going - thank you!"

We found the practice was friendly, welcoming and informative and all three patient's we interviewed felt the same.

We saw that patient's were listened to in all areas of the practice, which we found to be clean and comfortable throughout. All three patients we spoke with stressed how clean and comfortable they found the practice.

We found that patient's were able to give consent for treatment appropriately and the staff were well trained and caring. The practice was well led and the staff were observed to be well organised.
