During a routine inspection

People using the service told us they were pleased with the treatment they had received and the way it was provided. The majority of people spoken with used this service for a number of years. Two people told us that despite relocating from this area they continued to come back to this dental practice for all dental care, they said "I prefer to stay with a dentist who is familiar with my dental history".

People told us, 'I feel confident in my dentist's ability to give me the best dental care", 'I have come to the practice for over 40 years, I have seen some different dentists in that time, I was pleased with all of them" and "The service is convenient to public transport and the appointment system works well for me".

A person told us that the dental surgeon was "great with patients and thorough" and treatment options were always explained clearly. People told us that staff made them feel relaxed and comfortable. We observed people were provided with a comfortable relaxed waiting room.

The practice had one treatment room on the lower ground; it was wheelchair accessible, and convenient to enter from a small private car park.

The service had robust infection control procedures in place, this helped ensure people were safe and protected from the risk of infection.
